Introduction In Pittstown, NY, a centuries-old cemetery has just acquired new land directly adjacent to it. They want to expand their cemetery into this new parcel of land but in order to be able to sell plots to people, they need a way to map the land to see how best the cemetery can be laid out. Objectives My task is to create a map that shows where each plot should be placed in relation to each other the physical boundaries. There are specific dimensions of each kind of plot broken down by the number of graves meant to be placed in it as well as other rules about how far away the plots should be from each other. These plots also need to be accessible to the community so there is a need to have a road that runs through the cemetery.
